How much the number in an estimate is worth.

The four values are a ladder, not a mood. "measured" means this machine has run this algorithm and the estimate was scaled from that run. "calibrated" means this machine's throughput was probed but this algorithm has never run on it. "modelled" means neither, so built-in rates apply. "unknown" means the inputs do not support a number at all, and the estimate says so rather than inventing one.
