palettesOfKind(kind): readonly PaletteDescriptor[]

The palettes of one kind, which is what a palette picker offers once the encoding has decided whether it is ranking values, dividing them around a midpoint, or naming groups.

The element's own first, then the registered ones in registration order, so a picker's list does not reshuffle when a page imports one more plugin.

Parameters

kind

"categorical" | "sequential" | "diverging"

The kind of palette wanted.

Returns

readonly PaletteDescriptor[]

Every palette of that kind, in catalogue order.
