How parallel edges merge in subgraph(). OPEN UNION. Default "sum", the element's reading of a repeated edge as more connection; shortest paths want "min".

weight?

The edge attribute that fills the weights, and whether a weight is a distance or a strength. The element fills graph.weights (and the subgraph's, merged by simplify) from it -- an edge carrying no number there weighs 1 -- and records it as the run's caveats.weight. null reads the graph unweighted, the subgraph included. Absent, the weights are the ones the graph was loaded with (data.knownFields.edgeWeightPath), whose meaning the run does not state.
