alpha?

readonly optional alpha?: number

Switch from top-down to bottom-up once the frontier's out-arcs exceed the unvisited nodes' in-arcs divided by alpha. A bottom-up step reads at most the unvisited nodes' in-arcs, so with an alpha of 1 the search switches once a top-down step would read more arcs than a bottom-up step can. Default 1.

Switch back to top-down once the frontier shrinks below nodeCount / beta nodes. Default 18.
