Which arcs of a directed snapshot to colour along. "both" (default) follows out- and in-arcs, which answers for the graph with direction ignored. "out" follows out-arcs only, as the legacy bipartitePartition does: roots are taken in index order and a node first reached through an in-arc is coloured as a new root, so the answer depends on node order. Ignored on an undirected snapshot.
